• Turn right onto Route 127 South
• Route 127 for 43 miles to Murphysboro IL
• Turn left onto Route 13 East
• Route 13 East for 7 miles to Carbondale IL
• In Carbondale on Route 13 East (WALNUT ST) continue through town
• Downtown Carbondale Turn left onto Route 51 South (ILLINOIS AVE)
On Route 51 South (ILLINOIS AVE) keep to the left lane for 6 blocks, at the small left hand turn lane Turn left onto Chestnut St

Southern Recycling Center is 600 feet west on WEST CHESTNUT on the North side of the street.
 

Coming from the East: Marion, IL

• Route 57 North or South to Exit 54B, Carbondale IL
• Route 13 West in Marion, IL
• Route 13 West for 16 miles to Carbondale, IL
• Continue on Route 13 West (MAIN ST) to the center of town
• Immediately after crossing the railroad tracks Turn right onto Route 51 North (ILLINOIS AVE)
• On Route 51 North (ILLINOIS AVE) keep to the left lane for 4 blocks, at the small left hand turn lane Turn left onto Chestnut St
